Srinagar Airport (SXR) is the main way in. Direct flights link Srinagar with Delhi (about 1.5 hrs) and Mumbai (roughly 3 hrs), with several departures a day once the season picks up.
Jammu Tawi is the nearest big station, well connected to Delhi and Mumbai. From there it's around 270 km to Srinagar — 7 to 8 hours on the road — and we can set up transfers for that leg if you'd rather go this way.
NH44 runs the whole Srinagar-Jammu-Delhi stretch. Beautiful, but long if you're short on time. Most people fly in, and if there's a day to spare, drive out through Jammu instead — different valley entirely from the window of a car.
just a valid photo ID — Aadhaar or passport does it — for Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam. No special permits there. A few stretches past Sonmarg sometimes need seasonal permits, and we sort that out as part of the package when it applies.
Where most trips start and end. A shikara ride across Dal Lake, a night on a houseboat, an afternoon in Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh. Climb up to Shankaracharya Temple if you've got an hour spare — the view over the city makes the short climb worth it.
